Please note: when you change your password

  • You may be required to enter/review your alternate email address and phone number information for additional user account protection.
  • On password change, an email notification will be sent to your Mason email and alternate email.

About Patriot Pass

Patriot Pass is the combination of your Mason NetID (the portion of your email address before the @ symbol) and your strong password. Patriot Pass provides you with greater security, and allows you the ability to update or change your password on your own. When setting up Patriot Pass, you will be asked to create security questions as well as provide an alternate email address. This will allow you to reset your own password without going through the ITS Support Center.
